The goal of this project was to explore how to utilize the Arduino Uno in a design problem and to create a viable solution by the use of a working prototype. The problem to address is the lighting system of a house and how they do not adapt as the user of the house needs them to. Users return home after a long day at work in many different possible moods. The house being static in nature does not adapt to this and leaves the person either to waste their positive energy or further their negative energy. The goal of this project is to explore how a lighting system can be created to react to a users moods based on a series of questions that they answer as they enter the house. Outcomes of this project is to gain further understanding of the processing language, Arduino Uno microprocessor and to create a working prototype.
